Is Bay Builders licensed, insured & bonded?

Yes, Bay Builders hold a “B” type license for general contracting, and a “C36” license for plumbing. We are insured & bonded.

I won’t be available to oversee the project all day, how can I make sure that it’s done right?

At Bay Builders, we assign a project manager to every project that will oversee it from A to Z and will keep you updated. They also handle scheduling, suppliers, and city inspectors for you so you can relax and continue with your day to day activities.

Am I protected against accidents or mishaps that occur on site?

Yes, absolutely . We have the highest Liability Insurance to protect our homeowners if there happens to be an accident on the job.

Are permits required for my project?

Permit codes vary by city, but they are generally required for any framing, mechanical, plumbing or electrical changes.

Do I need to take care of the permit process?

Not at all. We will take care of the applications and will obtain the permits for you.

Does the written estimate include the permit costs?

Since permit costs vary from city to city and from time to time, the permit costs will be considered as additional cost and will not be part of the written estimate.

How much will the design portion of my project cost?

At Bay Builders, we do it all in-house, which means that the 3d design is free of charge with any project. Larger projects or projects with structural engineering may require additional costs.

Can I get some references from existing customers?

Of course! We can provide you with a list of references near your home and even schedule a visit if you would like.

How much will the initial consultation cost?

Our initial consultation is free of charge. We will send you one of our experts to discuss all the ins and outs of the project. If needed, we will provide a 3d design of the scoped project with a fee that will be credited towards your job at contract acceptance.
